We are looking for a Driller to perform Geotechnical and Environmental drilling. Duties include operating drill rigs, troubleshooting field issues, and evaluating project sites to assist with proposals.ย 

Location:ย Bartow, FLย 

Key Responsibilitiesย 

  • Operate andย maintainย various drilling rigs for geotechnical and environmental projects with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.ย 

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and industry regulations to ensure a secure working environment.ย 

  • Gatherย accurateย field data and soil samples;ย maintainย detailedย field boringย logs for analysis.ย 

  • Provide clear andย timelyย updates to engineers and clients usingย theย appropriateย toolsย and systems.ย 

  • Troubleshoot equipment and address field challenges as they arise.ย 

  • Assist in evaluating site conditions andย supportย project scoping when needed.ย 

  • Balance production goals withย high standardsย for data integrity and safety.ย 

Requirementsย 

  • 2+ yearsโ€™ drilling experience, with 1+ yearย operatingย multiple types of rigs.ย 

  • Proficiencyย in mud-rotary and auger drilling; rock coring experience preferred.ย 

  • Mechanical aptitude and ability toย maintainย drill rig and support equipment.ย 

  • Demonstrated commitment to safety in both practice and documentation.ย 

  • Ability to lift 50ย lbs, stand forย long periods, and maneuver in tight workspaces.ย 

  • Willingnessย to travel with occasional overnight stays.ย 

  • Valid driverโ€™s license with a clean driving record.ย 

Preferred Qualificationsย 

  • Familiarity with USCS soil classification for field logging.ย 

  • High school diploma or GED.ย
