Overview
Licensed Practical Nurse, Long-Term Care - South Burlington, Vermont, United States. This travel temporary assignment starts June 23, 2026 for Weeks. Earn $1,872-$1,941 per week with 40 guaranteed hours. Evening and/or overnight shifts available in a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to residents in a long-term care setting, including bathing, dressing, nutrition support, mobility assistance, and comfort measures, while maintaining dignity and privacy.
- Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, weight changes, pain levels, and changes in condition; report promptly to the RN or charge nurse.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to state regulations and facility policies; manage short-acting medications and document administration accurately.
- Perform routine nursing assessments, wound care, infusion assistance where permitted, and participate in care planning with the supervising RN; adjust plans as needed.
- Ensure safety and infection prevention by applying standard precautions, maintaining clean environments, and adhering to fall prevention protocols; respond to emergencies per protocol.
- Communicate with residents and families with empathy, provide education on care plans, and coordinate with interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.
Requirements
- Active LPN license in good standing (state-specific licensure)
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience; long-term care or geriatric care preferred
- Ability to work evenings and/or overnight shifts
- Willingness to travel and work across multiple long-term care settings
- Ability to meet credentialing and background check requirements
