Job description

Behavioral Health Registered Nurse

Job Type: Travel

Profession: RN

Specialty: Behavioral Health

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Nights

Hours per Shift: 12

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an inpatient psychiatric setting

License: Current state licensure as Registered Nurse

Certifications: BLS Certification; ACLS preferred

Description: As a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse, you will provide planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation. You will develop nursing care plans in coordination with the patient, family, and interdisciplinary staff as necessary. You will communicate changes in the patient's clinical condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisors/Managers, and co-workers as appropriate. You will participate in the discharge planning process. You must have graduated from an accredited Bachelor's of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma program. You must have a minimum of one year in an inpatient psychiatric setting.
