Job description

Seeking a Hospitalist Physician to join a great Mercy Health team in Ohio! 407 Bed Facility
Mercy Health - St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, Ohio is seeking a board certified/board eligible Hospitalist interested in experiencing all four seasons in a Midwest city surrounded by beautiful suburbs and charming rural communities. Work on a great team in a very collegial multi-specialty group.
Hospitalist Program Highlights:
  • Responsible for rounding on an average of 15-16 patients per day with occasional ED/direct admission.
  • 7 on 7 off working 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (Wednesday - Tuesday)
  • Respond to all Code Blues
  • No patients under the age of 16
  • Teach residents, medical students, and APC's
  • Most specialties represented except for burns and transplants
  • 424 bed count facility with a catchment of 480,000+
