The Instructor or Assistant Professor of Biology is responsible for the development and instruction of course materials in the field of biology, both on campus and online, and is capable of teaching freshman and sophomore college-level courses.

65% Instruct college level biology courses.

20% Office hours and advising

10% Committee Work/University Service

5% Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master's in biology or related field

OR Masters degree in unrelated field plus 18 credit hours in related biology field from a regionally accredited institution.

Microbiology lecture and lab preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Biology or related field

3 years of experience

Specific Experience:

College level instruction in biology

Microbiology lecture and lab preferred
