Job description

Slate is a commercial cleaning company specializing in after-hours janitorial services for high-standard client sites nationwide. Leveraging technology-enabled checklists, photo documentation, and rigorous quality control, Slate ensures spaces are maintained to the highest standards.
This role is responsible for deep cleaning boutique fitness studios during overnight hours, ensuring every area meets strict cleanliness requirements. As the Lead, you will oversee inventory management, supply ordering, and team coordination to guarantee seamless operations.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Perform thorough cleaning of fitness studio spaces, including equipment, floors, mirrors, restrooms, lobby, and retail areas.
  • Take before and after photos at each location to document results.
  • Follow a detailed bilingual cleaning checklist to ensure all tasks are completed to standard.
  • Clock in and out at each stop using a mobile app.
  • For Lead: Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, place restocking orders, monitor cleaner attendance, and coordinate same-night replacement coverage if needed.

Requirements
Required Qualifications:
  • Comfortable working overnight and independently
  • Proficient in using a smartphone and mobile apps for clocking in/out and photo documentation
  • Ability to follow detailed cleaning checklists
  • Able to lift up to 25 lbs, bend and kneel for cleaning tasks, and stand for the duration of each shift
  • Authorized to work in the United States and at least 18 years old
  • Reliable personal vehicle for travel between studio locations
  • Available to work overnight shifts starting at 11:00 PM and 12:30 AM on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in commercial or janitorial cleaning
  • Experience in a lead or supervisory role
  • English proficiency sufficient to follow checklists and communicate as needed
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
