Job description

*This position is located onsite in College Park, GA with varying shift availability.
Lockbox Mailroom Services Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for receiving and logging incoming US Government Client mail.
  • Receive overnight mail and deliver to production for same-day processing.
  • Operate high-speed mail sorter and perform routine equipment maintenance.
  • LVE (Key from image) keying for unidentified mail during automated sorting
  • Utilize mail look-up tool for Bulk Mail, Reject Mail, Miss-sorts, and Closed Mail
  • Sort manual mail by type ie; AIC, Match & Compare, and Special M & C
  • Prepare mail trays for delivery to the production floor.
  • Responsible for preparing closed account mail per forwarding instructions.
  • Forward prepared closed mail package to Operation Process Support for mailing.
  • Responsible for preparing closed Return to Sender mail for return to the Post Office
  • Responsible for preparing "Non-Bank Mail " for return to the Post Office
  • Document / track hourly deliveries to the AIC teams via; delivery custody forms, date/time tray tags, and mail log information for inventory reporting
  • Responsible for inventory reporting and tracking on site Sharepoint
  • Maintain sort patterns utilizing daily Implemetation notices and updates
  • Responsible for archiving imaged work from production which include: retrieving boxes from production and delivering to storage room, completing tracking process for recall and managing the off site storage process.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements such as HIP nd PCI standards.
  • Proactively identify and manage risk, leveraging the Risk Framework.

  • Must be able to lift/move boxes and trays and racks of work up to 50 lbs
