We are seeking an experienced Licensedย Practicalย Nurse (LPN) to join our Community Crisis Stabilization (CCS) team. In this role,ย you'llย provide specialized nursing care to adults in a 24-hour crisis stabilization program that serves as a medically necessary, voluntary, and less restrictive alternative to inpatient psychiatric hospitalization.ย ย
Our CCS program features a newly renovated 10 bed unit where individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis receive short-term stabilization and support. Typical stays range from 3 to 5 days but are flexible based onย each individual'sย needs.ย ย

Schedule: Alternating Weekends (Every Other Weekend)
Hours:
- Friday & Saturday | 11:00 PM - 7:00 AMย ย
LPN shift differentials for the Stabilization Unit position are:ย ย ย
- 7:00 AM - 11:00 PM (Sat & Sun only) = Base + $1.00 ย
- 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (ANY day of the week) = Base + $2.00 ย
- 3:00 PM - 11 PM (Monday through Friday) = Base + $1.00ย
What You Will Do:ย ย
- Monitor and document clients'ย self administrationย of medications while ensuring safe medication practices.ย ย
- Monitor clients' physical health needs and coordinate acute medical care with direct care staff as needed.ย ย
- Facilitate health and wellness groups and activities that promote recovery and overall well-being.ย ย
- Deliver strength based, solutionย focusedย nursing interventions and support individuals in developing Wellness Recovery Action Plans (WRAP) and safety plans.ย ย
- Complete assigned clinical documentation andย participateย in requiredย trainingsย to supportย high qualityย care.ย ย
What You Will Bring:ย ย
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program (Diploma/Associates/orย Bachelor'sย degree)ย ย
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) must be licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registrationย
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound clinical judgment, and provide compassionate, high-quality careย ย
- One year of experience in an acute mental health and/or co-occurring disorders settingย preferredย ย
- Familiarity withย recovery orientedย treatment approaches for individuals with severe mental illnessย preferredย ย
