About Property: Cooperstown All Star Village is a state-of-the-art sports complex located in Oneonta, NY. Cooperstown All Star Village specializes in youth baseball tournaments bringing teammates, coaches, and families together through our Big-League Experiences. We are committed to maintaining the values and experience gained from playing the game, while making sure there's a whole lot of fun along the way. Position Summary: The Team Laundry Attendant is responsible for the laundering of team uniforms during their stay at camp. This role includes washing, drying, and properly returning baseball uniforms in a timely and efficient manner to ensure players are game-ready each day. The attendant will follow proper laundry procedures, handle items with care, and maintain a clean and organized laundry area throughout each shift. This position operates during third shift / overnight hours. Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in picking up and delivering the team laundry
  • Wash, dry and return uniforms to the proper laundry bag
  • Help with bunkhouse cleaning as needed
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications: Required:
  • Detail-oriented and thorough
  • Must be able to accurately count and record uniforms and inventory
  • Ability to perform consistent work to the highest of standards
  • Must be available to work overnight / third shift hours.
Preferred:
  • Sufficient education and literacy are needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs.
  • Ability to communicate in basic English preferred.
Working Conditions / Special Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of standing, walking, lifting, pushing, and bending
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
  • Willingness to work a rotation seven-day work cycle
