JOB TITLE: Overnight Parking Lot Helper– Full-Time 

LOCATION: Irvine, CA

HOURS: 3rdShift 

COMPENSATION: $ 18/ Hour

Your daily impact: 

As our next Parking Lot Helper, you'll play an important role in supporting our parking lot sweeping operations and helping keep our communities clean, safe, and well-maintained. In this role, you'll assist the Parking Lot Sweeper with assigned routes, operate specialized equipment as directed, and help ensure parking lots and surrounding areas are properly cleaned and maintained. 

The job responsibilities below outline the core duties and expectations of a position, providing clarity on how the role supports Company goals.   • Safety & Inspection:Perform required pre- and post-trip inspections of the pick-up truck and equipment in accordance with company standards. Ensure all safety features are operational before beginning work. Follow all safety policies and report hazards immediately. 
  • Execution:Complete assigned tasks fully and on time while maintaining a high standard of quality. Follow instructions from the driver and supervisors carefully. Adapt quickly to changes in work assignments or conditions to keep operations running smoothly. 
  • Equipment Operation:Operate pick-up trucks and basic landscape tools such as blowers safely and efficiently. Follow all traffic laws, site-specific protocols, and safety procedures when operating equipment in public and private areas. 
  • Material Handling:Safely handle and transport materials including trash bags and tools. Apply correct procedures for lifting, loading, and disposal; use proper body mechanics to prevent injury. 
  • Reporting:Report any equipment issues, malfunctions, near misses, crashes, or injuries within 30 minutes or as soon as safely possible. Immediately escalate opportunities, work issues, or safety concerns to management. 
  • Communication:Maintain a professional attitude and communicate clearly with team members and supervisors. Represent the company positively on-site and in public view. 
  • Compliance & Documentation:Complete all required logs, forms, and checklists accurately and on time. Maintain a valid driver's license and remain compliant with drug-free workplace requirements. 
  • Adaptability & Problem Solving:Respond effectively to changes, such as route adjustments or weather delays. Identify problems in the field and take initiative to solve or escalate as needed. 
  • Regular & Predictable Attendance:The ability to consistently report to work on time and as scheduled, with minimal unexcused absences. This includes being present and prepared to work throughout assigned shifts, and reliably adhering to start times, breaks, and end times.
