Job description

CDL Driver/Warehouse Person

Rogue Valley Door's inhouse distributor, Wild River, is looking to add a CDL Driver/Warehouse person to their team. The CDL driver is responsible for loading and unloading the truck, transporting product from distribution centers to customer locations and/or other locations using a truck. This will require some overnight traveling. The position would require assisting in the Warehouse when not transporting. Must be certified to drive a manual transmission truck. Pay is DOE.

Job duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Follow all safety rules and regulations, all work must be done thinking "Safety First"
  • Driving loads short distances; one night layover per week
  • Learn how and administer production reports
  • Professionalism is a must; as there will be much interaction with RVD/Wild River customers
  • Check mechanical aspects of the vehicle
  • Read customer orders
  • General duties as assigned

Minimum requirements include but are not limited to:

  • Must have a valid CDL license (Class A or B)
  • Position requires a commitment to safety and accuracy; with stellar attention to detail in all procedures and operations
  • Employee must understand the importance of delivering a quality product in a timely manner
  • This position has physical activity including but not limited to repetitive use of hands & arms, lifting, carrying, standing, walking, bending, twisting, turning, pushing & pulling
  • Heavy lifting up to 75+ lbs. on occasion
  • Work well under pressure and independently
  • Outstanding work ethic, be self motivated and have a teamwork/positive attitude
