Position Summary:
The Overnight Member Services Security Associate is an overnight position that provides access control, responds to emergencies, and performs some light administrative tasks. The individual must be knowledgeable of the grounds, abreast of operating policies, and socially mature. Our Overnight Member Services Associates are unarmed yet key to the oversight and quality feel of the grounds. The individual must be comfortable with de-escalating and resolving situations that revolve around the safety and security of the club and our members. The role will interact with members, staff, and visitors frequently. This position requires exceptional interpersonal skills, a high degree of maturity and professionalism, sound judgment, and problem-solving abilities. Retired law enforcement would be an excellent fit.
Qualifications:
  • 18 years or older
  • High school diploma
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • Current Texas Department of Public Safety Level II license/pocket card
  • Preferred, law enforcement or security experience
  • Preferred, one year's experience or more in high end resorts, private golf clubs or similar
  • One year's experience as a security professional
  • Demonstrates a combination of security and interpersonal skills
  • Friendly, personable, and approachable
  • Capable of engaging in courteous conversation
  • Displays an understanding of protocol and decorum for a luxury resort environment
  • Knowledge of emergency response and (preferred) basic first aid
  • Familiarity with incident report writing

Physical Demands:
  • Ability to work all shifts when required during, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Walking, standing, sitting, some light lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Indoor and outdoor conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintains Texas Department of Public Safety Level II license/pocket card.
  • Remains knowledgeable of the entire Freestone Lake and Golf Club premises, amenities, and operating procedures.
  • Monitors and controls access points for authorized entry and exit.
  • Provides physical presence to deter trespassers and criminal activity.
  • Reacts to alarms, suspicious activities, and emergency situations in accordance with state laws and company policy.
  • Completes daily activity reports and incident reports.
  • Cordially greets and dialogues with members and visitors; assists others by answering questions, providing directions, etc.
  • Maintains high ethical standards and professionalism.
  • Presents a professional appearance and adheres to company dress code.
  • Represents the company with integrity and dedication.
