Membership Associate

Goodwill TalentBridge is hiring for a great organization in the O'Hare area.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Membership Associate to support membership operations and engagement initiatives within a professional organization. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate member data, supporting application processes, and delivering a high level of service to members and internal stakeholders.

Position Overview

The Membership Associate supports membership application processing, member record administration, CRM data integrity, and engagement initiatives. This individual serves as a primary point of contact for member inquiries, coordinates data requests, and ensures accurate recordkeeping and file management. The role also provides occasional front desk support and contributes to departmental projects as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage membership applications, renewals, and status updates across all membership categories
  • Review and validate application data and maintain accurate member records
  • Communicate with members regarding application status, dues, and updates
  • Follow established workflows and escalate exceptions as needed
  • Maintain and update member records in the CRM system
  • Review data quality reports and ensure accuracy of contact information
  • Track and update returned mail and verify member details
  • Serve as a primary contact for membership inquiries and provide timely, accurate responses
  • Educate prospective and current members on available benefits and services
  • Support member engagement initiatives and cross-functional collaboration
  • Coordinate internal and external mailing list and data requests
  • Ensure requests align with established policies and communicate status updates
  • Review outgoing communications for accuracy and consistency
  • Maintain organized membership files (digital and physical)
  • Archive records in accordance with document management procedures
  • Provide backup support for front desk/reception operations as needed
  • Assist with special projects, reporting, and administrative initiatives
