THE ROLE:

The Wholesale Apparel Order Management & Allocation Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end sales order process for major national retail accounts in a high-volume, high-SKU wholesale apparel environment. We are seeking an experienced wholesale apparel professional with hands-on experience managing orders for major national retailers, including EDI PO processing, inventory allocation, pick ticket generation, routing, and 3PL coordination. This role ensures the accurate processing, allocation, and fulfillment of customer orders by coordinating closely with Sales, Production, Logistics, and third-party logistics (3PL) partners. The ideal candidate has strong experience with EDI order processing, inventory allocation, pick ticket generation, and ERP systems, along with excellent Excel skills and a proactive, detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.

An Excel assessment may be part of the interview process (specifically doing VLOOKUP, PIVOT tables, basic formulas, etc.)

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process sales orders from major national retailers in high-SKU count environment including:
  • Inbound EDI PO processing and bulk order matching
  • Review of unconfirmed orders
  • Review of open orders against on hand in inbound supply to identify and resolve issues such as late delivery, shortages, etc.
  • Allocate and drop picks to 3PL’s
  • Manage open picks at 3PL warehouses in conjunction with on-site BCI Brands team, including timely routing and shipping of orders
  • Track inventory, allocate orders, drop picks and manage orders received via EDI and manually.
  • Liaise with Production, Logistics and 3PL warehouse teams regarding the status of sales orders, production and inbound shipments required to fill them, as well as the need for any extensions, shortages, etc.
  • Cooperate closely with sales team to ensure timely and accurate information sharing and communication of order status updates, extension needs, etc.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4+ years of wholesale apparel order management, sales operations, allocation, or customer operations experience supporting major national retail accounts
  • Required background in wholesale apparel
  • Experience working with allocation and generating pick tickets is mandatory
  • Preferred background working with 3PL warehouses
  • Experience with ERP systems required (Exenta or BlueCherry strongly preferred but not required)
  • Must have strong Excel skills
  • Organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through
  • Highly motivated

The annual salary range for this full-time role is between $90,000 - $100,000.
