Brightstar Care of Valparaiso is looking for a caring, reliable, experienced Caregiver / Home Health Aide in Valparaiso, IN for clients in need of overnight assistance.

Ideal candidates must be available for 5pm-9am shifts. Strong preference for individuals who are bilingual in Spanish.

BrightStar Care staff are responsible for providing the following services for clients:

COMPANION CARE:

- Respite and family relief

- Assistance with hobbies and pastimes

- Companionship for those condition compromises their ability to stay alone, such as individuals living with dementia

HOME SUPPORT:

- Laundry and light housekeeping

- Grocery Shopping and meal preparation

- Errands

PERSONAL CARE:

- Bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting

- Medication reminders

- Transferring, positioning, and ambulation

All candidates must be at least 18 years of age, have a high school diploma/GED, and a valid Drivers License. 

Prior healthcare experience is greatly preferred but not required for the right individual.
