We are seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic who is available to permanently work overnight shift. This is not a rotating shift and requires consistent overnight availability.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Review work orders and meet with internal customers to explain the repair process and provide updates on progress.
  • Develop and follow detailed work procedures using technical manuals, charts, and diagnostic tools.
  • Read and interpret diagnostic results to accurately identify issues and determine effective solutions.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicle components, including transmissions, engines, steering mechanisms, and brake systems, while following checklists to ensure all critical parts are examined.
  • Replace malfunctioning or worn-out parts with precision and care.
  • Perform essential maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, oil changes, and fluid level checks to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
  • Test-drive vehicles post-repair to verify that all systems are working properly and the vehicle is safe to operate.
  • Be knowledgeable of Microsoft Office including but not limited to Outlook and Teams.
  • Shows desire to learn, follows directions well, works great with others, and maintains a positive attitude.
  • This is a full-time position that may vary outside the normal work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Shifts may include early mornings, nights, overtime, and weekends to meet production needs.

Qualifications
  • Ability to work overnight shift is required.
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance on a regular basis.
  • Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
  • Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of diesel engine systems and mechanical components.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and charts.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
