Job description

We are looking to add a dedicated and experienced Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair a fleet of diesel trucks in the Southwest Houston area. This will be a 3rd-shift position, and the ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel mechanics.

WORK SCHEDULE: For the 3rd shift; Sun-Thurs. 10:00 p.m.-6:30 a.m. Reply today for immediate consideration.

Key Responsibilities:

· Diagnose and repair mechanical problems in diesel trucks.

· Perform regular maintenance tasks on diesel-powered delivery trucks and other fleet vehicles.

· Communicate effectively with team members and management to provide updates on repair status.

· Overhaul or replace worn or damaged parts using precision instruments, as well as power tools.

· Read blueprints/wiring diagrams to determine location, size, capacity, and type of components needed to execute repairs.

Requirements:

· +2 years of related mechanical experience.

· High School Diploma or GED.

· Completion of a formal diesel mechanic training program or vocational school is preferred.

· Must have a valid Driver's License

· Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service bulletins.

· Must have own tools
