A client of O'Mally Management Group has an immediate direct hire opportunity for a Diesel Mechanic in Crosby, TX. We are looking to fill several positions in the Houston/SE Texas area.
Summary
As a Diesel Mechanic-Technician, you will be essential in maintaining and repairing diesel engines and related systems to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will utilize your core skills in automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and preventative maintenance to diagnose issues and perform repairs. Your premium experience with heavy equipment and fabrication will enhance our service capabilities. Additionally, your relevant skills in customer service and teamwork will contribute to a positive work environment, ensuring that we meet our clients' needs effectively and efficiently. Responsibilities for the Diesel Mechanic:
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines and related components.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure vehicle longevity.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve issues.

Qualifications for the Diesel Mechanic:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification from a diesel mechanics program or relevant work experience.
  • 1+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic.
