Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Responsibilities

  • Dispense medications accurately during overnight shifts with attention to safety checks.

  • Review and verify prescriptions, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

  • Identify and resolve medication-related problems and safety concerns.

  • Maintain compliance with all pharmacy laws, safety protocols, and facility policies.

  • Provide patient counseling on medication usage, side effects, and interactions.

  • Manage inventory, including stock control, ordering, and expiration tracking.

  • Ensure accurate documentation of all dispensing activities and interventions.

  • Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize therapeutic outcomes for patients.

  • Monitor medication usage trends and contribute to performance dashboards.

  • Support quality assurance initiatives and participate in process improvement projects.

  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to ongoing professional development.

  • Utilize pipelines and territory data to forecast demand and staffing needs.


Experience/Qualifications

  • Active Pharmacist license in the applicable state or country.

  • Overnight shifts availability with ability to handle high workload safely.

  • Accurate dispensing during night hours with strict safety checks.

  • Prescription review for legality, contraindications, and interactions.

  • Patient counseling on usage, side effects, and interactions.

  • Inventory management including stock control, ordering, and expiration tracking.

  • Documentation of dispensing activities and clinical interventions.

  • Quality assurance participation and process improvement project involvement.

  • Collaboration with healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
