Data Center Infrastructure Analyst I
JOB SUMMARY:
The Data Analyst I will play a critical role in supporting the Facility Manager in the efficient operation of the facility and the Data Hall.
Key Responsibilities:
Deployment of data center hardware into standardized equipment racks, including the physical mounting of servers, storage arrays, network switches, and related devices; installation of power distribution and network cabling; cable management; labeling; and verification of connectivity, power, and hardware readiness in accordance with data center design standards, capacity requirements, and operational procedures.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills)
Education / Experience:
Four-year degree in a related technology field with 2+ years' relevant experience.
OR
- Two-year degree in a related technology field with 4+ years' relevant experience.
- Knowledge of facility management systems and processes, particularly in relation to HVAC and UPS systems.
- Experience working with HVAC systems, understanding their impact on data center operations, and using data to optimize their performance.
- Familiarity with Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems and the ability to analyze data related to power management and reliability.
- These qualifications ensure that candidates have the necessary background and skills to effectively support the Facility Manager and contribute to the efficient operation of the facility and Data Hall, with a specific focus on Power Generation, HVAC and UPS systems. - Understand/achieve business, Technology Organization, and departmental goals, strategies, and plans
- Ability to effectively utilize standard Company computing applications (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Ability to appropriately utilize documentation tools as required by specific job (CAD, VISIO, etc.)
