Job description

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is seeking a Data Intake Pharmacy Technician to join a nationally recognized long-term care pharmacy in Anaheim, CA. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented pharmacy professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.


Position Details
  • Schedule: Thursday – Sunday | 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM

  • Location: Anaheim, CA 92801


Position Overview

In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring accurate patient and prescription data within the pharmacy system. You’ll work closely with internal teams and healthcare providers to support efficient operations and high-quality patient care.


Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain accurate patient profiles in the pharmacy system

  • Enter and verify prescription information with a high level of accuracy-type new prescriptions, process refills , multitask (answer phones, manage Teams chat with internal team and another chat function with our customers) per pharmacy protocol.

  • Review and confirm patient demographics, insurance details, and required documentation

  • Collaborate with internal teams and providers to obtain missing or incomplete information

  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all regulatory guidelines

  • Manage high-volume data entry while maintaining accuracy and efficiency

  • Communicate effectively to resolve discrepancies and support workflow continuity


Pay

The anticipated wage for this position is between $21.00 and $24/hour. Hourly wage depends upon experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


Qualifications
  • Active California Pharmacy Technician License (required)

  • Must have experience performing data entry for a long-term care pharmacy

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively

  • Prior LTC pharmacy experience required

  • Experience with pharmacy systems/software is a plus
