Position Details
Position OverviewIn this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring accurate patient and prescription data within the pharmacy system. You’ll work closely with internal teams and healthcare providers to support efficient operations and high-quality patient care.
Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and maintain accurate patient profiles in the pharmacy system
Enter and verify prescription information with a high level of accuracy-type new prescriptions, process refills , multitask (answer phones, manage Teams chat with internal team and another chat function with our customers) per pharmacy protocol.
Review and confirm patient demographics, insurance details, and required documentation
Collaborate with internal teams and providers to obtain missing or incomplete information
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all regulatory guidelines
Manage high-volume data entry while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
Communicate effectively to resolve discrepancies and support workflow continuity
PayThe anticipated wage for this position is between $21.00 and $24/hour. Hourly wage depends upon experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
QualificationsActive California Pharmacy Technician License (required)
Must have experience performing data entry for a long-term care pharmacy
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
Prior LTC pharmacy experience required
Experience with pharmacy systems/software is a plus

Pay Details: $21.00 to $24.00 per hour
