Job description

Position Purpose:
The Sr. Studio Specialist, Video Production role leads concept development and the execution of creative deliverables across all media channels. These responsibilities include creating and communicating concepts, incorporating promotional/marketing strategies and developing creative solutions. The Sr. Specialist, Video Production role will work with and provide guidance to set designers, cinematographers, editors and other production specialists, and will work closely with the Studio Orange Sr. Video Producer. This associate will work with the team to successfully translate concepts into visual expression. They ensure all variables/versions are aligned to media plans and audiences, oversee tactical execution against concepts and brand standards, and secure final approval from the Sr. Manager, Creative Production. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive expertise across the full video production lifecycle, with the ability to conceptualize and execute motion graphics and visual presentations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • 30% Collaboration - Collaborate with internal and external business partners to ensure all stakeholders are aligned with company goals and brand standards
  • 70% Strategy & Execution - Guides the company's creative strategy by managing the development and production of creative content Uses discretion, independent judgment, and creativity to make key decisions to successfully deliver assets for multiple cross-channel projects Responsible for utilizing acquired experience and creative expertise, to elevate the brand, overcome challenges, and ensure delivered assets meet the marketing objective scope of work

Travel Requirements:
  • Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.

Physical Requirements:
  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Working Conditions:
  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 4+ years' experience in a creative agency or in-house agency environment, preferably working with brands
  • Experience with creative ideation, storytelling and concepting for video content
  • Ability to design, build and present creative decks
  • Experience in motion graphic design; working knowledge of After Effects
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing platforms, trends, and nuances between paid and organic content
  • Experience selecting on-screen talent and wardrobe
  • Experience in art directing in a video and photography medium
  • Experience overseeing and guiding video editing
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong collaborative, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to oversee multiple projects and productions across multi-channel business platforms from concept through post
  • Ability to adapt and change in creative environments, multitask, and prioritize
  • Insistence on design quality and customer-centric focus
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites
