Job description

Part Time/Full-Time - Responsible & reliable staff needed for weekend coverage

from 10:45pm-6:45am. Serving a co-ed adolescent boarding school with a

psychiatric population. Staffing needed for female and male dorms, main campus

and off-campus house. Primary tasks include but no limited to supervision of

students in the dormitory(s), providing evening overnight dorm coverage, assisting

with general student care, reporting of events up the chain of command &

documentation of shift.


Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Awake and alert to be able to perform the job.
  • Receiving assignment (s) for female and or male dormitories.
  • Making routine checks on students.
  • Documenting all student activity.
  • Being aware of general safety concerns.
  • Following the chain of command.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Overnight Experience desired
  • CPR Certification- on site certification opportunities available
  • All employees need to be endorsed by the Connecticut Department of Children (DCF) which requires a background check and fingerprinting. Process to occur post-interview.
