Job description

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide medication management and ongoing psychiatric care for patients.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care.
  • Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and medication adherence.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to clinical best practices and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
  • Current PMHNP-BC certification and licensure in the state of Indiana.
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Experience in psychiatric care preferred; new graduates with strong clinical rotations will be considered.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to compassionate care.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Schedule & Setting
  • Outpatient clinic setting
  • Monday-Friday schedule with flexibility for patient needs
  • No overnight call requirements
  • Inpatient weekend coverage is available for additional compensation opportunity
