Remittance Processing Associate to support overnight banking operations. This is a great temp-to-perm opportunity for someone who enjoys accuracy-focused work, meeting productivity goals, and being part of a reliable operations team.
What You'll DoIn this role, you will operate imaging and extraction equipment, including
OPEX Falcon and/or OPEX-150 machines, to scan, review, and verify processed work for accuracy. You will help prepare batches, extract checks and remittances, reconcile documentation, and ensure all customer and banking guidelines are followed.
Key Responsibilities- Process and scan work using imaging/extraction equipment
- Prepare batches by extracting checks and remittances from envelopes
- Verify checks according to customer-specific processing instructions
- Balance and reconcile paper documentation
- Meet productivity, quality, and deadline expectations
- Follow all customer, bank, internal audit, security, and operational procedures
- Support team goals while maintaining individual performance standards
What We're Looking For- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good eye-hand coordination
- Intermediate computer skills
- Ability to follow detailed procedures and instructions
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 15 to 20 pounds
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to learn multiple areas of the operation
Preferred Experience- Remittance processing, lockbox, banking operations, mailroom, production, scanning, or document processing experience is preferred, but not required.
