About the Role:
Join a team of specialized safety professionals who play a hands on role in protecting workers across industrial environments. As a Site Safety/CSE Rescue Technician, you'll support client projects by overseeing confined space entry operations, ensuring safe work practices, and serving as an on site resource for hazard prevention and emergency readiness. This role is central to strengthening safety culture and helping clients maintain the highest standards of compliance and risk mitigation.

Here's a glimpse into your day to day:
  • Travel to industrial client sites in the mid-Atlantic to perform Confined Space Entry Rescue Standby Services.
  • Understand CSE Rescue Plan, safety procedures and processes.
  • Fill out CSE permits and ensure all required safety equipment is operational.
  • Represent the company during safety meetings with general contractors.
  • Write job hazard analysis (JHA) and health & safety plans (HASP) as needed.

You'll be a perfect fit if you have:
  • Volunteer Firefighter or EMT experience
  • First Aid/CPR certified
  • Understanding of confined space hazards, including chemical, physical, and atmospheric risks
  • Ability to travel locally, regionally and overnight as required.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 hours in Construction certification is a plus
  • Training in confined space, hazmat, rope, trench, EMT is a plus

Physical Requirements/Work environment
  • Ability to stand, crouch, kneel, climb ladders, and lift 50lbs on a regular basis.
  • Ability to wear respiratory protection (N95, half-face respirator, SCBA, SABA)
  • Working from manufacturing/plant environments; can be dusty, dirty, loud, and exposed to elements.
  • Work in a confined space
  • Discern colors

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Pay: $20-50 Hourly (depending on experience)
  • Eligible for overtime pay
