Position: Operations Engineer II - AMZ21232.3
Location: Irving, TX
Multiple Positions Available:
(1) Lead NASC Process initiatives in developing and delivering next generation, world-class sortation and transportation systems. (2) Utilize groundbreaking technologies to develop sortation and logistics systems. (3) Design systems and processes that leverage groundbreaking automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies and robotics. (4) Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop innovative and cost-effective solutions in very short periods of time for our sortation and distribution systems. Projects will be a variety of template-based and designed-from-scratch along with ownership of Process Designs end to end complementing each Design. (5) Coordinate efforts to develop optimal solutions and processes for the sortation and transportation network through material flow, process design, site layout, and intellectual property considerations. (6) Simultaneously manage multiple projects and tasks while effectively influencing, negotiating, and communicating with internal and external business partners, contractors and vendors. (7) Domestic travel up to 25% may be required to perform the responsibilities of the role.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
A Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Operations Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Project Engineering or related field and one year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. In the alternative, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Operations Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Project Engineering or related field followed by five years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Must have one year of experience in each of the following: (1) As industrial engineer, operations engineer, manufacturing engineer, or project engineer in a manufacturing environment. (2) Managing material handling or automation projects. (3) Design and/or implementation experience with integrated automation solutions, such as material handling systems, high-speed packaging lines, or manufacturing lines. (4) Utilizing CAD software (AutoCAD, REVIT, BIM 360, etc.). (5) Operations Management/Distribution Center experience. (6) Sigma, Lean manufacturing efforts, transportation/logistics and/or fulfillment/distribution centers.
