Hello DAPE Teachers! Come work with a woman and therapist run company doing what you love! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Developmental Adapted Physical Education Teacher in the Fridley, MN area. What You'll Do

  • Develop individualized adapted physical education (APE) goals aligned with students' IEPs
  • Plan and teach modified physical activities that improve motor skills, coordination, strength, and fitness
  • Adapt equipment, games, and instruction so students can safely and successfully participate
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to support students' physical development and inclusion
  • Monitor student progress, documents outcomes, and adjusts instruction to help students meet their goals

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's or Master'sDegree in Physical Education or Related Field
  • Active Minnesota DAPE license through PELSB (Tier 3 or 4)
  • Previous experience working in theclassroom setting is preferred
