Job description

Welcome to a medical center where you're the center of attention.

$25.91 - $38.87
The Staffing Specialist provides scheduling and daily staffing support to Overlake Hospital Perioperative Department. Assesses the staffing needs for each shift and assigns Per Diem staff, procures any needed additional staff, or will grant low census in accordance with the WSNA Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). Assists with unit pre-scheduling and scheduling tasks including working in collaboration with unit leadership to produce balanced schedules. Facilitates the traveler and per diem contingent worker process. As a subject matter expert, the Staffing Specialist ensures all staffing office processes are compliant with the WSNA CBA and Human Resources policies.

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma required. Associate degree preferred or equivalent experience in health care, business, computer science, and training and education.
  • Minimum two years of experience in an administrative support position preferred, including word processing and spreadsheets. Previous hospital scheduling experience is also desirable.
  • Exposure to a variety of noise levels, such as phones, intercoms, equipment and conversations.
