Hamburg Overhead Door, Inc. is seeking an experienced Commercial Garage Door Service Technician to join our established service team. Applicants must have prior commercial garage door service experience with a garage door company to be considered.

Job Responsibilities
  • Service and repair commercial and industrial garage door systems, including, sectional doors, rolling steel doors, high-cycle spring systems, operators, controls, and safety devices
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
  • Perform accurate measurements, adjustments, and repairs
  • Ensure all doors meet safety and operational standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site
  • Safely operate and maintain a company-provided truck
  • Communicate clearly with customers, general contractors, and internal teams
  • Complete service documentation accurately and on time

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid NYS driver’s license required
  • Minimum 2 years of commercial garage door service experience with a garage door company required
  • Hands-on experience with rolling steel, sectional, and operator systems required
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Comfortable lifting heavy materials and working at heights
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Professional customer service and communication skills
  • Reliable transportation to our Hamburg, NY office
