Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Morning Baker to join our kitchen team and help us provide freshly baked goods to our customers each day. The ideal candidate is an early riser with a passion for baking, capable of producing high-quality pastries, breads, and other baked items with consistency and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
·       Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods including breads, pastries, muffins, cookies, and specialty items according to recipes and quality standards
·       Arrive early to begin daily production and ensure products are ready for opening hours
·       Measure and mix ingredients accurately and operate baking equipment safely
·       Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards
·       Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and communicate restocking needs
·       Assist in developing and testing new recipes or seasonal offerings
·       Label, date, and store baked items appropriately
·       Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff and communicate effectively with the front-of-house team

Qualifications
·       Previous baking experience preferred, especially in a commercial or café setting
·       Strong knowledge of baking techniques, dough handling, and proofing times
·       Ability to follow recipes with precision and maintain consistency
·       Comfortable working early morning shifts (start times between 4:00–6:30 AM)
·       Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
·       Food Handler’s Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hiring)
·       Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Schedule
Early morning shifts (4:30 AM – 12:00 PM), including weekends and holidays as needed
