Job Description
Our client, a leading line pipe distributor in the United States, is seeking a reliable Order Puller for their South Houston location on the first shift. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders, and managing inventory in the warehouse. The ideal candidate will efficiently sort and place materials, ensuring accurate packing and shipping of orders while maintaining organizational standards. Responsibilities:
  • Assist in shipping and receiving by unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to organizational standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations neat, and performing tasks such as sweeping, dusting, and mopping.
  • Organize the warehouse and work area to always ensure orderliness.
  • Wear proper safety equipment and always adhere to safety protocols.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 3-5 years of warehouse experience in shipping and receiving.
  • Experience operating reach trucks, forklifts, and order pickers.
  • Knowledge of carbon flanges and fittings is a plus. Flanged values, Gate, Globe and Check valves, High pressure valves, Multiport valves and Sanitary valves
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings, including background check and drug test.
  • Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 50 lbs regularly, and over 100 lbs occasionally, with experience using Sit-Down Forklifts, Stand-Up Reach Trucks, or Pickers preferred.
