While both roles are integral to game creation, outsourcing focuses on project management and delegation, whereas game developers are directly involved in the technical and creative process.

What is an outsourcing game developer?

An outsourcing game developer is a professional or company that provides game development services to other studios or clients, often handling specific aspects of game production such as art, programming, or quality assurance. Outsourcing is commonly used in the gaming industry to access specialized skills, reduce costs, or speed up the development process. These developers may work on parts of a game or entire projects, collaborating closely with the primary game studio to ensure consistency and quality.
