Job description

JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in the steel industry, excels at developing new business, and has an established network of industrial customers.

 

JOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Generate new business through prospecting, networking, and relationship building.
  • Manage and expand a portfolio of industrial and commercial customers.
  • Identify customer needs and provide steel solutions that add value.
  • Prepare quotes, negotiate pricing, and close profitable sales.
  • Maintain strong relationships with contractors, manufacturers, fabricators, and distributors.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure outstanding customer service and on-time deliveries.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Minimum 2 years of outside sales experience in the steel industry.
  • Established network of industrial or construction customers is highly preferred.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Self-driven with a proven ability to generate new business.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
