Consolidated Gypsum Supply is a Western Canadian supplier of building materials. We are recruiting for an Outside Sales Representative to join our team in Red Deer. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Outside Sales Representative is responsible forgrowing and maintaining strong customer relationships within an assignedterritory. This role focuses on generating new business, expanding existingaccounts, and providing trusted product knowledge to contractors, builders, andcommercial clients. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Drive sales growth and increase volume for assignedaccounts within assigned territory.
  • Solicit orders from both current and prospective customers.
  • Proactivelyseek new customers.
  • Build strong, longtermrelationships through regular calls, onsite meetings, and responsive support. Travelis required.
  • Carryout merchandising programs as directed.
  • Identify customerneeds, resolve issues, and deliver solutions that drive loyalty.
  • Adhereto company policies and guidelines to achieve sales objectives and maximizeprofitability.
  • Stayinformed about market trends and recommend product additions or adjustments.
  • Contributeto the development of sales forecasts.
  • Maintainup-to-date customer records in compliance with company standards.
  • Prepareand submit call and expense reports as required.
  • Recommend new product additions and suggest modificationsor discontinuations of existing products.
  • Participatein sales meetings, training programs, conventions and trade shows as required.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams toensure a seamless customer experience.

    WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

    • High school diploma, post secondary preferred
    • Previous sales experience (building materials, an asset)
    • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
    • Excellent time and territory management skills
    • Excellent organizational skills and superior attention to detail
