Job description

Brandt is currently seeking an Outside Parts & Service Representative for our Red Deer Agriculture location.

This is an outside sales position responsible for promoting and selling agricultural parts and service, as well as providing after sales support to new and existing customers.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers with the goal of increasing sales and customer satisfaction
  • Assist the Parts & Service departments to increase profitability and performance 
  • Regularly prospect and cold call new accounts to discuss new promotions and programs
  • Implement yearly territory plan including a customer target list to maximize sales potential
  • Visit customers in Area of Responsibility (AOR); a minimum of 1 visit per month
  • Keep customers current on new products and services
  • Develop prospective customers with a goal of 2 per month
  • Follow-up with customers on unit and machine performance
  • Maintain and utilize the database records related to each customer including sales meetings, opportunities, quotes, notes, and any other documentation as required
  • Work cooperatively with management to meet and maximize budget goals and expand customer base by presenting and implementing new marketing strategies
  • Gather competitive product and pricing information and supply to management
  • Participate in all required training and development opportunities
  • Follow up on customer concerns and communicate effectively to the appropriate Management Team
  • Maintain cleanliness, scheduled maintenance, and inventory for the company vehicle
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Experience
  •  2 - 3 years previous of sales experience in a similar role, or in a Parts or Service Department
  • Journeyman ticket/Red Seal in Parts or Service is considered an asset
  • Valid Driver’s License and clean driver’s abstract will be required
