Outside claims adjusters, also known as field adjusters, are insurance professionals who investigate and assess insurance claims in person. They typically travel to the site of accidents, property damage, or other insured events to gather evidence, interview involved parties, and determine the extent of the insurance company's liability. Outside claims adjusters play a crucial role in ensuring that claims are handled fairly and in accordance with policy terms. Their work often involves inspecting properties, evaluating damages, and negotiating settlements with policyholders or claimants.
