What You'll Treat
You'll primarily work with:
- Outpatient pediatric speech and language disorders
- Articulation and phonological disorders
- Language delays
- Cognitive-communication disorders
- Pediatric feeding and swallowing (when applicable)
You'll also occasionally assist with:
- Adult inpatient rehabilitation
- Swing Bed patients
- Speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
What You'll Do
As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll help patients improve communication, swallowing, and overall quality of life through individualized treatment.
Responsibilities include:
- Evaluate and treat pediatric and adult speech-language disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based one-on-one therapy
- Educate patients and caregivers
- Document care using EMR
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and rehabilitation professionals
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care
QualificationsRequired- Graduate of a CAA-accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
- Indiana Speech-Language Pathology license (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Minimum one year of outpatient pediatric experience
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred
- Hospital or outpatient rehabilitation experience
- Pediatric feeding and swallowing experience
- Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
