Job description

The Preoperative Registered Nurse works as a professional practitioner employed by Amergis Healthcare Staffing and assumes the responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in the preoperative setting.  The Preoperative Registered Nurse demonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner with supervision. 

The Preoperative Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care and consistently performs according to nursing standards.  The Preoperative Registered Nurse is accountable in managing patient care and assisting others in the management of the preoperative patient.

Minimum Requirements:

  • One year of preoperative experience preferred
  • Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices
  • Current CPR if applicable
  • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

We are actively seeking an experienced Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) for a high-volume outpatient surgery and endoscopy center in beautiful St. Helena, CA (Napa Valley).

This is an excellent opportunity for RNs who thrive in fast-paced perioperative settings, are confident in Pre-Op and PACU Phase II, and excel at managing rapid patient turnover.

?? Compensation Package – $2,900/Week
  • Total Weekly Pay: $2,900
  • Housing Allowance: $1,244/week
  • Meals & Incidentals: $644/week
  • Taxable Wages: Approx. $1,012/week
?? Schedule Details
  • 4x10-hour shifts (40 hours/week)
  • Monday–Friday with rotating day off
  • Start times vary between 5:30 AM – 11:00 AM based on case volume

  • Provide Pre-Operative and PACU Phase II care

  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia teams, and clinical staff
