Job description

Outlet Operational Responsibilities:          

  • Assist with training of all food service and bar staff
  • Assist with production of schedule for twenty eight Atlantic/Thoreau’s
  • Responsible for all daily service operation.
  • Maintain tight control of dining reservations book – Open Table
  • Assist with supervision of any events in the Private Dining Room
  • Coordinate closing of outlets with other food & beverage managers
  • Attend daily BEO meetings and periodical staff meeting
  • Develop the twenty eight Atlantic/Thoreau’s team to minimize turnover
  • Assist with hiring when applicable
  • Implement systems and controls to ensure profitability of department. Manage flatware, glassware, linen and china inventories and the protection of assets
  • Supervise bar operation and ensure beverage control standards are met.
  • Act as a coach for all food service and bar staff.
  • Individually train all new members of the team, including servers, hostesses, assistant servers
  • Assist with administrative tasks like menus and POS system updates
  • Responsible for supply management in coordination with twenty eight Atlantic GM
  • Discipline staff according to WI guidelines.
  • Maximize revenues in both outlets, introduce staff incentives, train up selling techniques
  • Assist with pre-meals, communicate issues to staff and listen to staff issues.
  • Perform staff reviews.

 

Guest Relations Responsibilities:    

  • Departmental leader for resorts Customer Intimacy Program
  • Establish outlet procedures for all special occasions
  • Work closely with Executive Office to ensure all VIP reservations are handled accordingly
  • Work closely with outlet management to promote heroic acts and encourage participation
  • Establish new and innovative heroic acts for the department
  • Work towards a pre-arrival program for all special occasions in twenty eight Atlantic

Salary: $1,400 - $1,700 per week based on experience and qualifications
