Job description

Position Summary:
The Detailer is responsible for efficiently processing vehicles through the Detail Shop while maintaining a high standard of quality. This entry-level position focuses on vehicle cleaning, detailing, and sale-ready preparation. Detailers will learn and apply various cleaning techniques, vehicle inspection processes, and contribute to maintaining a smooth flow of operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a team to clean and detail vehicles, ensuring they meet the required sale-ready standards.

  • Learn and apply proper techniques for both exterior and interior vehicle cleaning.

  • Evaluate vehicles to determine if any decals, stickers, license plates, or writing on windows need to be removed.

  • Maintain high-quality standards for vehicle presentation and overall shop operations.

  • Use appropriate tools and equipment, including compressed air hoses, heat guns, razor blades, screwdrivers, and vacuum cleaners.

  • Follow safety procedures and wear the proper safety equipment while working.

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company cleanliness standards.

  • Contribute to effective shop operations, especially during peak times such as sales or promotions.

  • Assist with the maintenance of shop production flow and team collaboration.

  • Respect confidentiality of customer and company information.

  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management to ensure the smooth operation of the shop.
