We currently have an opportunity for a well-rounded and seasoned Outdoor Food & Bevearge Supervisor to join our Pier Sixty-Six Resort team! We are seeking friendly and outgoing individuals with food and beverage experience to join our team as Outdoor Food & Bevearge Supervisor for our lively, entertainment filled, Latin influenced family pool cafe restaurant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Reporting to the Restaurant General Manager, this role will be responsible for leading the restaurant and bar operation with passion and creativity, ensuring exceptional five-star service. This role will require assisting other F&B Outlets as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Monitoring the bar as well as the indoor and outdoor seating areas of the restaurant in a supervisory capacity as well as being cross utilized in other food and beverage outlets, as necessary.
  • Ensuring all guests are assisted by restaurant service staff to provide a flawless welcome and dining experience.
  • Filling in whenever needed, ensuring the utmost in guest service while caring enough to do it well by adhering to Forbes standards.
  • Handling guest inquiries, complaints, or special requests with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Adhering to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring smooth service flow and efficient kitchen and front-of-house coordination.
  • Addressing staff concerns and customer feedback to improve overall service and team dynamics.
  • Training and motivating staff to ensure the highest standards of service and presentation.
  • Being responsible for the cleanliness of the immediate work area and the general property.
  • Resolving issues promptly and professionally to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintaining complete knowledge of all liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections, correct glassware, and garnishes for beverage and food.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED recommended.
  • Must be TIPS certified or become certified within 30 days of hire.
  • Must have a current Food Handlers card.
  • Minimum of one year of supervisor experience in a luxury resort setting is preferred.
  • Ability to interact with all associates and guests of the resort.
  • Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
  • Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time.
  • Must be flexible and available to work, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work under variable temperature conditions.
  • Ability to endure abundant physical movements throughout the work areas.
Experience, Education, & Licensure
  • High School Diploma or GED recommended.
  • Previous Supervisor experience in a professional setting is preferred.
