Dahle Used Auto Mart

Dahle Used Auto Mart is seeking a dependable, motivated, and detail-oriented Vehicle Lot Attendant to help maintain our vehicle inventory and ensure our dealership lot remains organized, clean, and customer-ready. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, staying active, and being part of a fast-paced automotive team.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain the appearance and performance of inventory vehicles by cleaning interiors and exteriors.
  • Check and replenish vehicle fluids as needed and replace batteries when necessary.
  • Install buyer's guides, stock tags, and other required inventory materials in vehicles.
  • Keep dealership lots neat, organized, and displayed according to company standards.
  • Move, park, and arrange vehicles as directed by management.
  • Transport vehicles to and from dealership properties, storage lots, and other designated locations.
  • Create and manage vehicle key tags and assist with inventory control.
  • Perform vehicle inspections and report any damage or maintenance concerns.
  • Support dealership operations by completing additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets company insurance requirements.
  • Ability to safely operate a variety of vehicles, including maneuvering in tight spaces and busy lot environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous automotive, lot attendant, or dealership experience is helpful but not required.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, and reach while inspecting and maintaining vehicles.
  • Ability to lift and carry light to medium loads, including batteries, tools, and automotive supplies.
  • Occasional lifting of heavier items such as tires and vehicle parts.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to safely enter, exit, and operate vehicles repeatedly throughout the day.
