Overview
Are you a strategic product leader who thrives at the intersection of creativity, commerce, and collaboration? Join our Co-op Brands team as a Senior Product Manager, where you'll shape the future of outdoor gear and apparel that reflects our values, inspires our members, and drives meaningful growth.
What You'll Do:
As a Senior Product Manager, you'll lead the seasonal brand and product strategy for Camp and Cycle activities within REI's Co-op Brands. You'll ensure every product we create is member-informed, aligned with our brand vision, and meets our business goals.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
  • Lead Strategy & Execution: Develop and drive 1-2 year product and brand strategies aligned with our 3-5 year roadmap.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with merchandising, design, and development to deliver cohesive, profitable, and compelling product lines.
  • Product Creation: Decision maker and driver of the seasonal product creation process from concept to buy-ready, ensuring alignment, accountability, and timely execution.
  • Market & Consumer Insights: Use data, trends, and consumer feedback to inform strategy and identify new opportunities.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor 1-2 direct reports, fostering growth and performance.
  • Financial Impact: Support the development and execution of financial plans, ensuring margin targets and revenue goals are met.

Qualifications
  • A strategic thinker with 7+ years in product line management and merchandising planning.
  • A collaborative leader with strong communication, analytical, and business planning skills.
  • Experienced in brand building, with a keen eye for relevant trends and commercial potential.
  • A natural team builder who can inspire, align, and drive results across functions.
  • Comfortable operating with autonomy and influencing at all levels of the organization.
  • 3+ years of people management experience preferred
  • Experience in outdoor, lifestyle, or consumer goods industries is a plus.
