Essential Functions:

  • Process inbound & outbound carrier check-ins in a timely manner.

  • Verify driver credentials, CDL, and transportation carrier against scheduled appointments.

  • Assign dock doors to carriers based on load type, priority, and warehouse material stage location.

  • Communicate Carriers arrivals, load priorities, delays, to DC team.

  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date yard log tracking all trailers on property, including empty, loaded, and drop trailers.

  • Accurately identify and record lot code, product, and other ingredient information.

  • Update orders with all required information (Name, Shipping lane) and mark off items once they have been picked. Make sure to use the correct license plate (LP) when picking orders

  • Communicate with carriers and vendors to arrange scheduled appointment times for inbound and outbound orders.

  • Responsible for accurate and timely traffic reports

  • Collaborate and maintain a clear line of communication with Warehouse and DC leadership teams, Sales, Finance, and Operations as needed.

  • Report/Document trailer conditions, seal integrity, and any visible damage upon arrival.

  • Ensure Outbound loads are properly sealed and documented before departure.

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • 1-2 years Office/Warehouse experience preferred
  • Ability to obtain forklift certification preferred

Skills:

  • Excellent organizational and oral/written communication skills

  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with supervisors/managers, colleagues and individuals inside and outside the organization.
