New Tech Global is currently seeking an Operations Supervisor for a direct hire opportunity in Earth City, Missouri.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM. Must be flexible to work Saturdays as needed.
Overview
New Tech Global is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to oversee shipping and outbound distribution operations in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This position is responsible for supervising daily shipping activities, leading warehouse personnel, ensuring customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time, and maintaining compliance with quality and safety standards.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Supervise daily shipping and outbound distribution operations.
  • Lead, coach, and develop shipping personnel.
  • Monitor shipping performance metrics and implement process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with shipping regulations, quality standards, and customer requirements.
  • Coordinate receiving, inventory, storage, and shipping activities.
  • Resolve shipping issues, delays, shortages, and customer concerns.
  • Support labor planning and staffing to meet operational demands.
  • Maintain OSHA, DOT, and company safety compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 8 years of warehouse or distribution operations experience with supervisory responsibilities.
  • Previous experience managing shipping or outbound logistics operations.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bilingual Spanish is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and WMS or ERP systems.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, shipping procedures, and inventory control.
  • Understanding of OSHA, DOT, and workplace safety requirements.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
