Job Purpose

At Wisenbaker, every cabinet we manufacture represents a promise to our customers. That promise depends on flawless coordination between production, inventory, transportation, and delivery. As a Logistics Coordinator, you'll play a critical role in ensuring products move efficiently from our manufacturing facility to the customer,accurately, safely, and on time.

The Logistics Coordinator serves as the communication hub between manufacturing, shipping, inventory, transportation providers, customer service, and field operations. This position is responsible for coordinating outbound shipments, scheduling deliveries, monitoring transportation activities, resolving logistical issues, and maintaining accurate documentation to support exceptional customer service and operational efficiency.

Success in this role requires outstanding organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where priorities can change quickly.

Your Mission

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will ensure the seamless movement of finished products by coordinating transportation schedules, supporting shipping operations, maintaining accurate logistics documentation, and proactively resolving issues before they impact our customers.

Your work will directly contribute to on-time deliveries, customer satisfaction, transportation efficiency, and the overall success of Wisenbaker's manufacturing operations.

What You'll Be Doing (and Absolutely Crushing It)
  • Coordinate daily outbound shipments and transportation schedules.
  • Communicate with carriers to schedule pickups, deliveries, and appointment times.
  • Collaborate with production, inventory, scheduling, and shipping teams to ensure orders are ready for shipment.
  • Track shipments from departure through delivery and proactively communicate delays or issues.
  • Prepare and maintain shipping documentation, bills of lading, freight paperwork, and transportation records.
  • Assist in resolving shipping discrepancies, damaged freight, delivery exceptions, and transportation claims.
  • Maintain accurate records within ERP, WMS, and transportation management systems.
Qualifications & Required Skills
  • 2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, shipping, warehouse coordination, customer service, or manufacturing operations.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with ERP, WMS, or transportation management software preferred.
  • Manufacturing or building products experience preferred.
