Job description

Electra Link is seeking dedicated Low Voltage Cable Technicians to become an integral part of our team! You will assist with the installation of various types of cabling in commercial settings. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working from lifts and ladders and willing to work a long-term, out-of-town project schedule.


 Position Details
  • Entry-level and experienced technicians welcome
  • 100% out-of-town work
  • Long-term project duration — years
  • 12 hours per day, 7 days per week schedule
  • Rotating team members for out-of-town breaks

Job Responsibilities
  • Pull, test, and terminate various types of cabling
  • Install support structures, including ladders, racks, and j-hooks
  • Follow directions from the team lead to ensure project success
  • Work comfortably from 6ft, 8ft, and 10ft ladders, scissor lifts, and boom lifts
  • Perform cabling work in commercial new construction environments
  • Proficiently use hand tools (drills, screwdrivers, snips, levels)

Requirements
  • Must be able to legally work in the USA
  • Must pass a criminal background check, E-Verify, and drug test
  • Flexibility with availability; willing to work overtime
  • Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, strong communication skills
  • Reliability and punctuality required
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stay mobile throughout the day
  • Strong mechanical aptitude preferred; ability to work unsupervised
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) is a plus, not required
  • OSHA 10 Certification is a plus
