Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine
University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Campus/ OU Health
The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and OU Health is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Pulmonary and Critical Care physician with fellowship training in Interventional Pulmonology to join a growing academic program.
The successful candidate will have expertise in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic bronchoscopic procedures, including rigid bronchoscopy, robotic bronchoscopy, endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS), pleuroscopy, airway stenting, tumor debulking, and bronchoscopic lung volume reduction (BLVR).
Clinical responsibilities include participation in a high-volume interventional pulmonology service, outpatient subspecialty clinics, and inpatient consultative care. The candidate will work closely with thoracic surgery, oncology, and radiology in a multidisciplinary environment to support a comprehensive high volume lung nodule and lung cancer program.
Academic responsibilities include teaching and mentoring fellows, residents, and medical students, with opportunities to contribute to the development of an Interventional Pulmonology fellowship program. Participation in clinical research and program development is strongly encouraged.
The division is undergoing significant growth, including expansion of interventional pulmonology services, and implementation of advanced diagnostic and AI-supported lung nodule and BLVR programs. This position offers a unique opportunity to help shape the future of interventional pulmonary care at a leading academic institution serving a diverse and underserved population.
