Job description

Otter Products is hiring an Associate Distribution Operations Manager to join our team in Frederick, CO. This position is onsite and will work Monday to Thursday 5:00 am to 3:30 pm.

The Associate Distribution Operations Manager will oversee distribution center operations within their assigned function. This role will work cross-functionally to partner with other associate managers and managers throughout the supply chain functional area to maintain best-in-class operations and work to implement process improvements as necessary. The Associate Distribution Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring that all shifts meet or exceed goals and is a people leader role.

  • Lead and manage distribution center operations within assigned functional area(s) spanning multiple teams - ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are met
  • Drive operational execution across assigned shift, ensuring performance metrics are achieved or exceeded consistently, and done so in a cost-effective and budget-conscious manner
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including other Associate Managers, functional leaders, and external teams to optimize workflows and resolve operational challenges and effectively allocate resources and headcount as needed
  • Utilize ERP/MRP systems and inbound scheduling tools to manage headcount and capacity schedules to meet business demands
  • Provides a high degree of leadership and coaching to shift supervisors, direct reports, as well as temporary flex force employees in the form of communication, issue resolution, process change, education and empowerment
  • Achieves and maintains facility goals, objectives, and reports performance against targets
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards
  • Foster a high-performance, team-oriented culture focused on accountability, engagement, development and cross functionality
  • Maintain and organize warehouse environment to ensure the facility is in proper operation
  • Support and maintain a positive safety culture by being an active leader in all safety program initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Experience in lieu of degree may be considered.
  • Minimum of three years of warehouse or logistics experience is required.
  • Previous experience in a mentor, supervisor, lead, or manager role is preferred.
